About
Pecos River and Area Events
Events along the Pecos River and the towns around it.
Pecos River and Area Events lists dates for the SE NM Area: Chaves, Eddy, Lea, Otero, and Lincoln counties in New Mexico, and Yoakum, Gaines, Andrews, Winkler, Loving, Ward, Reeves, Culberson, and Hudspeth counties in Texas.
Towns in that area include Roswell, Dexter, Hagerman, Carlsbad, Artesia, Hobbs, Lovington, Eunice, Jal, Tatum, Alamogordo, Ruidoso, Capitan, Seminole, Denver City, Seagraves, Plains, Andrews, Kermit, Monahans, Pecos, Mentone, Van Horn, Sierra Blanca, and Dell City.
The largest town leads the intro when event counts tie. A town with more dates in the next 30 days leads instead. The board is the whole area.
Sports coverage is home and away for the high schools whose schedules are posted. A tournament is listed when an organizer posted the date.
Outdoor listings are parks, trails, and dated outings along the river and in the counties around it.
Craft fairs, renaissance fairs, gun and knife shows, farmers markets, and other community markets each have a page.
Every dated listing links to the page it came from. You can join the Friday note from events@pecosrivernm.com. Contact goes to alfred@pecosrivernm.com.
